Founded in 1963, the DISCO started as a GALLERY to exhibit and sell works of ART, it soon became a meeting point for several WORLD-FAMOUS artists, including PEGGY GUGGENHEIM, who gave the disco its original name, EL SOUK (the market).

El Souk grew to be a prestigious venue, a glamourous COCKTAIL LOUNGE and PIANO BAR for the artistic community, meeting point and magnet for the world’s celebrities.

In 1978, inspired by artist friends, El Souk transformed in to a fine DISCO & NIGHT CLUB, unique for its beauty and originality. Renamed PICCOLO MONDO DISCO, it’s a small world, a jewel in the heart of Venice, a meeting point and place to dance and enjoy.

Here we are, Piccolo Mondo, the ONLY DISCO in VENICE.
